There will be a combined live tweet-up, held at Seastar Restaurant in Bellevue, WA, USA and an on-line Twitter party to raise funds and awareness for Homeward Pet, a no-kill animal shelter in WA. Homeward Pet is a nonprofit, no-kill animal shelter serving the Seattle, WA area. Their mission is to give homeless animals a second chance through rescue, shelter, and adoption programs. The #PawLove tweet-up celebrates Homeward Pet's 20th anniversary! Founded in 1990 under the name "Hooterville Pet Safehaus," they started with simple goals: save and re-home cats and dogs and educate the public about spaying and neutering their pets. Homeward Pet is one of the largest no-kill shelters in the state of Washington! Each year Homeward helps over 1,300 cats and dogs find their forever home.
